400th post, finally! haha. my mum kindly informed me the other day that my hair looks very thin now. thanks, mum. yes, i've been dropping a lot of hair ever since i went to dye it red. and it's still dropping like mad! soon, i'll need to go to beijing 101 too, with all the uncles and the aunties. i've thought of keeping my hair red semi-permanently, but i guess it's not going to happen now. i'll wait for my mane to fully grow back, before deciding on my next weirdass colour, haha. anyway, i must say, i do miss teaching. a lot, especially after talking to mel about her tuition kid. i was initially quite glad to be taking a break after i left, but i now miss the feeling, even though i still think that the students to have the potential to drive me mad, haha. or maybe i just miss the feeling of having a job (getting paid, yums!). no but seriously, i do miss the kids and the job. but perhaps it too was a good thing that i left, i kept feeling like they did more good for me than i did for them. oh wells. 11:30 PM Thursday, May 07, 2009
say goodbye to the pretty, useless phone..  and hello to the pretty, functional phone!  okay, granted that: the phone still feels like it kind of lags, the camera is at the most disastrous place you can think of, the memory cannot be expanded (but hey, it's 8gb), reviews have been saying that the cover scratches like nobody's business, the touch screen buttons on the front are so sensitive that it's annoying, and the phone probably won't be found in a dark room because it's completely black, and not the partial brown i wanted, it's a totally welcome change from my samsung which lags like it's nobody's business, has a blurry camera which takes pictures at a rate of 5 seconds per shot, can only take a maximum of a 2gb memory card, i get to choose between having a scratched or a ugly screen because the protective plastic won't stick properly due to the unevenness of the screen, (i have nothing bad to say about my touch-sensitive buttons and the colour of my phone because i love them, haha). so yes, am loving my new phone! for now, at least. opinions might change when i actually start using it. 9:10 PM
